Greetings from GrantLessons, we continue to have 17 followers and I expect more will join this week after the National Assistance League announces GrantLessons at the National Leadership Conference being held this week, May 22 through 24.
Also, Anita Friesen, National Director of Resource Development, announces today a new opportunity for chapters called GrantStation. This is an early holiday present for chapters! One of the hardest things to do in the grant writing process is to identify grantors who want to support chapter programs. National Assistance League has negotiated a special rate from GrantStation for their funder database. The searchable database allows a chapter member interested in writing grants to identify potential grantors.
The price of the program is $47 per year, discounted from the regular price of $699. A chapter signs up through their President making contact with Anita by emailing her at firstname.lastname@example.org. Step right up and get your order in today. Anita will be able to work with GrantStation to update new chapter members to the database on a monthly basis, so you don’t want to wait an extra month to get access, check it out today. Anita plans to send the first subscriptions in for June 15, so act today! Next week, we will have more information about getting started with your new members to the Grant Committee. Have a great week!
So catch me when you can and I will catch up with you soon. Sandie
