Sandie Barrie is a grant writer focusing on sharing her knowledge with grant writers. The blog is published on Wednesday mornings. The weekly blog provides the user an opportunity to interact with the moderator and other grant writers interested in writing grants for Assistance League Chapters.The blog contains information for the grant member to assist them in establishing a team to work on getting grants for Assistance League chapters.

The blog is structured to provide the user with small chunks of information on specific topics. Under the Lessons tab the user will find six segments relevant to the development of a Grant Committee to gain success in obtaining grants. The segments include: preparation, funding, writing, submission, evaluation, and comittee. Under the Checklist tab, the user will find a checklist for each segment. Under the Examples tab, the user will find documents with specific information and many templates that the grant writer can use in developing their first grant. Under the Resources tab, the user finds links to downloadable files and  external links to websites used in grant writing. Popular links are also included under the Blogroll on the right side of the screen. Lastly,  the user will find links to Videos hosted on YouTube.
